Letter: Pave Paradise and put up a parking lot?

So will the DNR take all the trees and put them in a tree museum and charge the people a dollar and a half to see them and then pave paradise and put up another parking lot?

So will the DNR take all the trees and put them in a tree museum and charge the people a dollar and a half to see them and then pave paradise and put up another parking lot?

And then later on, after a serious accident happens on Mount Si Road, someone will finally do something. Which will mean we residents on Mount Si Rd will more than likely lose a portion of our property so they can widen the road and pave more of paradise.

In my humble opinion, the only solution to this problem is to quit wasting taxpayers’ money on meetings, studies, clearing and grading, and finally paving.

Instead wouldn’t it be better to take those funds and hire people to take reservations and only allow x amount of people on the mountain?

That would resolve the issue of people parking and walking down Mount Si Road, would give the wildlife more privacy (I mean, what happened to all the goats?), and would put some people to work.

Additionally, get rid of the Discover Pass. The parking on Mount Si Road was only exacerbated by this requirement.
