A coalition of organizations and concerned citizens has banded together to initiate an effort to have insurance coverage for hearing aids. The proposed legislation was presented to the last Legislature. Because of the short session last year, the bill is still awaiting action. The bill is called “Hearing Aid Insurance Legislation” with the acronym of “HAIL.”

On Thursday, Nov. 4, the grange representative of the coalition will visit at Sallal Grange and further explain the bill, enlisting support for its passage. The meeting will start at 7:30 p.m. and is open to the public.

Sallal Grange hopes to sing “Hail, Hail, the Gang’s All Here.” Please come, pick up literature on the subject and get informed. Remember, Sallal Grange Hall, 12912 432nd Ave. S.E., North Bend, 7:30 p.m.
