It’s election time again and oh, how time flies.

Reflecting on the last few years I sometimes wonder what is holding up progress on flood control, the creation of some kind of community service building (out of the flood area) and the idea of building a playfield. Kids seem to always be at the end of the needs.

We have people with integrity both on the Ridge and here in town that really do care and are committed folks. One of these is Cathy (Runkle) Reed. Knowing her for many years, I have great respect for her ability and willingness to work hard. Thanks Cathy.
