Recently, I had a conversation with an Eastside attorney who is supporting Judge Mary Ann Ottinger for re-election and who frequently appears in her court. He said, “Judge Ottinger is a straight shooter. If the facts and the law are with my client, he wins; if they aren’t, my client receives the appropriate punishment. It’s that simple.”

As the Eastside’s most senior judge, Judge Ottinger has served for nearly 15 years. She is tough, fair and consistent. Her passion is to hold people accountable for their actions and help them move in a more positive direction. There are many success stories. She has a big box full of letters from defendants thanking her for setting high expectations of them and helping them turn their lives around.

Judge Ottinger is an asset to our community and deserves re-election.
