Grange heads House of Hope fund raiser

Letter to the Editor

Sallal Grange No. 955 has selected the House of Hope as their community service project for the year 2005.

The project will be aimed at providing packages of housekeeping materials to help residents who have completed their rehabilitation to re-establish themselves in their own homes. In addition, we plan to provide layettes to newborns at the House.

Since the active membership of the Grange is limited at this time, assistance of the community at large is being solicited. Donation jars are being placed in business establishments in the Valley for cash donations, which will be tax deductible, and all money gathered in that manner will be used for the project.

The Grange also suggests that you consider joining the organization to further support the activities planned for this year and to help with even more projects in future years.

As an incentive, anyone joining in the next two months and who attends the meetings on a regular basis with have their 2005 $28 dues paid by the Grange.
