Grandparents in awe of Valley’s support

Letter to the Editor

We just returned home to southern Idaho after our third trip to North Bend in the past two months. We’ve been visiting our grandson, Caleb Williams, who had been unconscious since his accident on June 20.

There are no words that can fully express the depth of our gratitude to the many people in North Bend and beyond who have been supporting our grandson and his family since the accident. The prayers and loving care and concern for Caleb and his family have been awesome.

Our special thanks are expressed to the four young men who saved our grandson’s life. It is truly amazing that they had the presence of mind to do all the right things as they awaited the arrival of the emergency responders. We also thank the emergency responders, the hospital staff and the Rehab Without Walls team for their care.

Caleb is on the road to recovery and we realize it may be a difficult journey for all of us. We are, however, so very thankful that our journey has begun.

Please continue to keep Caleb and his family in your prayers. God’s blessings to you all.
