Fireworks stand a booming success

Letter to the Editor

The Snoqualmie Valley Kiwanis Club’s fireworks stand was a smashing success this year and the club membership wants to say: thank you, thank you, thank you to those who purchased fireworks at the stand. We hope that you were happy with your purchases and had a great and safe Fourth of July.

Heartfelt thanks go to Snoqualmie city officials who assisted us with working our way through the permitting process, regulatory compliance and various inspections. A special thank you to Mayor Fletcher. Snoqualmie is lucky to have leadership that recognizes the value of nonprofit organizations’ fund-raising events and what they give back to the community. We especially appreciated the helpful assistance of the fire and police departments.

We would also like to thank Richard Anderson of Snoqualmie’s Northwest Railway Museum; Francis Claffey of Claffey’s Painting; John and Lisa Lynn of American Leak Detection; and Puget Sound Energy for their contributions to our success.
