District 27 leaders appreciate support

Letter to the Editor

On behalf of re-elected Fire Commissioner Tom Brice, newly elected Fire Commissioner Kevin Hauglie and seated Fire Commissioner Josie Williams, we thank all those who we serve for your support during our recent campaign.

The support you showed will enable your fire department to realize a vision – a vision which will allow us to continue providing the level of service you have come to expect and deserve.

In addition, we want to thank those who worked enthusiastically as the “Vote Yes” committee. With the committee’s support through a car wash and bake sale, we collectively realized over $2,500 that was utilized to educate and solicit voter approval of over 71 percent on the ballot measure.

Thanks again to those who made and posted all of the signs and to those who went door to door handing out brochures and encouraging people to vote. Thanks also to those who wrote letters of encouragement and support to the editor.

We, the three commissioners, invite all those we serve to stop by the fire station in the upcoming months and years to visit that which you have enabled us to create.
