In the Dec. 13, 2001, Valley Record, a statement by Charlie Conner was mistakenly attributed to George Sherwin in the story “Builders still hammering away on Ridge.” Conner said he is still building model homes and is dealing with building permits.
In the story, “Feeding the need,” Sno-Valley Hopelink was inaccurately identified. In addition, the Carnation organization has three paid staff members, not six, and it receives contributions from Food Lifeline, not Northwest Harvest.
The Valley Record regrets the errors.
