Just for the record, the purchase, creation and presentation of the award to Maxine Dovenberg on Feb. 23 for her 15 years of conducting the exercise class was by the members of the class, not the Mount Si Senior Center.

We deeply appreciate her dedication all these years and decided to celebrate her birthday with cake, trimmings, gifts and this very special award.

The plaque was presented to Maxine by Katie Hanson who is the oldest member and has been in the class since its inception, over 15 years ago.
