The city of Snoqualmie stalls at giving the fire and police departments contracts for one year, then wants to build an $800,000 community center.
School levies are coming after the first of the year. Is a community center more important than schools, police and fire protection? A few years ago, the city tried to get rid of the police department because the City Council claimed we couldn’t afford their services.
Do those living on the Ridge think they are the only people who deserve all the niceties without regard for other Snoqualmie residents?
I am now 81 years old and can barely stay in my home because of taxes. There are so many others in my age group here in Snoqualmie in the same situation.
