Chamber thanks local businesses

Letter to the Editor.

I wish to thank all of the participants who took part in the sixth

annual Bite of the Valley to make the event another huge success.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the vendors who

graciously donated time and food for the event. They are Denny’s, Adair’s

on the Green, Snoqualmie Falls Brewing Company, QFC, Safeway,

Marketplace, Salish Lodge, Scott’s Dairy Freeze, The Reef, Twede’s Cafe,

North Bend Bar and Grill, Snoqualmie Falls Candy Factory, Ken’s Restaurant,

Columbia Distributing Company, George’s Bakery, Talking Rain,

Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, Safari’s Pizza, Georgio’s Subs and

Papa Murphy’s.

I would also like to thank my committee who consisted of

Susan Hankins, Ellen Krush, Marie Everett, and Karen McKiernan. Many

other Chamber of Commerce members helped to set up the Senior Center

for the occasion, sold tickets during the event, and helped Bill Jobe clean

up after the event. A special thanks to the Senior Center for allowing the

Chamber the use of their facilities.

Your Chamber is very active in the Snoqualmie Valley. The mission

statement of the Chamber states that the Chamber is dedicated to

promoting and maintaining a healthy economic environment within the

community. The Bite of the Valley is one example of a means to promote the local

restaurant businesses.

Again, thanks to all who made the Bite of the Valley a huge success,

especially our local restaurants and distributors.
