Beanies and beyond

A look at life through the eyes of a 10-year-old girl.

Last week I didn’t have a Beanie Baby so this week I will have a

Beanie Baby. This week’s Beanie Baby clues are I’m yellow and white and

you might find me in your Easter basket.

If you have a guess, send me an e-mail at

mckiernanlynnae@hotmail.com.

All week long we were on vacation. We went to Maryland,

Washington, D.C., Virginia and New York. We stayed at my great aunt Sonia

and uncle Jim’s house in Maryland. In Washington, D.C., we saw

the Jefferson Memorial, the Lincoln Memorial, the Washington

Monument, the White House and the Capitol.

The whole trip was pretty cool. In New York we went to the World

Trade Center which is 107 stories tall. We saw the Statue of Liberty from

there. We also went to Bloomingdales, the GAP, Disneystore and the NBA

store. We got to ride in a limo the whole time we were in New York. I got to

meet cousins that I’ve never met before.
