Richard Leo St. Marie

Richard Leo St. Marie, Sr.

Richard Leo St. Marie, Sr., of Everett, peacefully left his body on October 9, 2010. Born in Duluth, MN, on Good Friday, April 2, 1926, he was the oldest child of Leo and Mae. A veteran of WWII, in 1955 he moved to the NW where he raised his family and had a long career with Boeing. Dad was proud of his almost 25 years of sobriety. With his first wife, Donna, he had four daughters, and one son. In 1975, he wed his beloved Rosy, who had two more daughters to add to his loving family. They spent 34 precious years together until her death last October. Dick was also blessed with 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren Dick was a hard working jack of all trades and master of some. He loved to putz in his wood-shop and could “Richard rig” anything. His veggie garden was world famous (especially for peas). He liked to play the ukulele, sing and whistle like nobodys business, fish, golf, camp, ride cows, pilot ice boats, ski jump, swim like a fish, and collect bowling trophies. Dick’s kids will host a goodbye party from 1:00-3:30 p.m., on November 7, at Everett’s Legion Hall, but don’t tell Dad! In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your local food bank.
