Lola Mae Anderson | Obituary

June 22, 1934 – March 14, 2024

Lola Mae Anderson 89, of Wenatchee, Wash., passed away on March 14th 2024. She was born and raised in Fall City on June 22 1934. A long time resident of the Snoqualmie Valley. Her parents were Dorothy and Harold Howell.

She graduated from Mt Si High School in 1952. Was married to Robert R. Anderson in November 1952. They were married for 50 years.

Lola and Bob were avid sports fans. They were season ticket holders for the UW Huskies for over 40 years.They always went to the Rose Bowl whenever the Huskies did.

When Bob retired in 1990 they sold their 3-acre home in Spring Glen. They moved to Sunland Estates in Quincy. There they enjoyed boating and spending time with new and old friends and all their visiting relatives. Their grandchildren loved to go to Granny and Papa’s.

Bob lost his health in 1998. Needing to be closer to his doctors in Wenatchee. They moved there and bought a home in Heritage Haven. Where Lola lived until the summer of 2021. She spent her last years in assisted living, first in Wenatchee then in Levenworth to be nearer her daughter.

Lola was proceeded in death by her parents, husband Bob, grandson Hank T.R. Kennedy and great- granddaughter Sierra Rose Schuller Stoddard.

She is survived by two daughters Dotty (Norm) Stoddard, Connie (Kimbel) Gauthier and son Steven Anderson. Three granddaughters, Tracy and Tara Stoddard, Katie (Darik) Peet one grandson Thomas Stoddard, two great-granddaughters Skarlett and Annaka Peet.
