Leah (Charbonneau) Fitzgerald

Leah (Charbonneau) Fitzgerald, longtime resident of Snoqualmie, WA, passed away on February 7, 2015. Leah was born September 9, 1917 in Pierre, South Dakota and grew up in Grass Range, MT where she met George Fitzgerald and later married.

Seeking work, they traveled from Montana to Utah, Arizona, Snoqualmie Valley, Alaska, Virginia, and eventually settled in the Snoqualmie Valley. Leah was youthful, with a wonderful sense of humor and made many friends, both young and old. She loved the outdoors, especially fishing, clamming, hunting, and gardening.

Leah was preceded in death by her husband George; her parents, Zelia and Oscar Charbonneau; brothers Amos and Emmett; sisters Marie (Terry), and Myrtle (Drake) and is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

The Memorial Service will be March 7, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, Snoqualmie, WA. Friends and family are invited to view photos and sign the online guestbook at www.flintofts.com. Flintoft’s Funeral Home 425-392-6444.
