Katherine Mae Gohlke Kerr, the oldest of eight children born to Clifford and Vivian (Turnbull) Gohlke was born in Perham, Minnesota on November 26, 1947, and left the state with her parents in 1948. She passed away peacefully on August 28, 2017.

Katherine is survived by her husband John Kerr of 37 years and two daughters, Janine Volland and Janet (Jelle) Beusen of Germany, grandchildren Natasha, Shayla, and LJ, step-grandson Michael (Jessica), one brother Richard (Christine) Gohlke, and one sister Gail (Tim) McCullough, as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents Clifford and Vivian Gohlke, sisters Deborah Gohlke, Mary Ellen Boulds, Theresa Marie Daubert, brothers Daniel and Robert Gohlke, and step-daughter Susan Johnson.

Her Memorial Service will be held at Flintoft’s in Issaquah on Sunday, September 10, 2017. Memorial donations in her name should be made to American Diabetes Foundation or the American Pancreatic Cancer Foundation.
