Jeffrey (Jeff) Jensen

Jeffrey Jensen, of Ft. Collins, Co., died peacefully on October 18, 2009 at Odyssey Hospice in Amarillo, Texas after a long battle against Colon cancer. He was 60 years of age. Jeffrey was born on December 16, 1948 in Snoqualmie, Washington, the son of Gale and Leora Jensen. He was raised in Fall City, Washington where he was involved in Little League and Scouts. He graduated Mt Si High School in 1967 and soon after served in the United States Airforce for 4yrs. Jeffrey married the love of his life, Deborah Tucker, in 1976, in Hawaii. They moved their family to Ft. Collins, Colorado in 1981 where he worked as a truck driver. He enjoyed his truck driving job since he was able to share it with his wife, Deb. They traveled together the past three years seeing the country side. Jeffrey loved fishing, hunting and spending time with his family. Jeffrey enjoyed telling stories and shared them with everyone he met. His stories were always great. He was a very gentle and caring man and will be deeply missed by his family, friends and everyone who had the chance to meet him.Survivors include his wife Deb Jensen; son Joshua Jensen, of Ft. Collins, Co., daughter Michelle (Jensen) Krulitz, of Ft. Collins, Co., granddaughter Sabrina Jensen, of Ft. Collins, Co., mother Leora Barebeau, of Yuma, Az., sister Janis (Jensen) and Roland Clark, of Royal City, Wa., brother Marty Jensen, of Seattle, Wa., mother and father-in-law Theresa and Gerald Tucker, of Lake Forest, Ca., sister-in-law Darcy Vargas, of Lake Forest, Ca., 8 nieces and nephews, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.He is preceded in death by his father Gale Jensen in 1979.At his request no service will be held, however, a wake will be held sometime in the future to celebrate Jeffrey’s life.
