June 8, 1938 – October 3 2009Gary J. Will of Snoqualmie quietly passed away on Saturday October 3, 2009 at Snoqualmie Valley Hospital from Complications of Heart Disease. He was born June 8, 1938 in Roslyn WA. to John and Marie Will.Graduated from Cle Elum High School in 1956.He Left Roslyn after Graduating High School to join the Coast Guard in July of 1956 and served as helmsman / radar operator on the USCGC Klamath.Gary married Janet Dodd of Black Diamond WA in 1957. After his Discharge he settled in the Seattle area and began his career in the nondestructive testing industry working for Automation Industries, In 1967 he became a partner in X-Ray Incorporated and remained there for his entire career, upon the sale of the business he maintained a presence in the industry acting as a consultant writing computer programs and testing procedure’s for thickness gauging, the business lead to adventure and travel throughout the world which he thoroughly enjoyed including several recent trips to China to inspect casting’s used in grinding equipment. Gary was preceded in death by his father in 1977 and his mother in 1996.Survived by daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Chris Magnani of Kailua, HI; daughter, Kimberly Cohn of Waikiki, HI; son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Susan Will of Fall City, WA; sister, Pamela Raymond of Parkland, WA; brother, Dennis Will of Oceanside, CA; grandchildren; James Cohn, Arickiah Simera, Marie Will, Cassidy Will, Mackenzie Will, Makoa Magnani, Makena Magnani; great-grandchildren, Ashly Simera, Ashton “Bubba” Simera, Kennedy Cohn, Drew Cohn.His presence in our lives was appreciated and he will be dearly missed.
