Eric was 46 when he passed away at his home in Snoqualmie. He was a resident of Snoqualmie for the last 12 years. Eric grew up in Ottumwa, Iowa, where his parents and sister still live.

Eric had a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accounting and Political Science and a MBA in Finance. He was most recently employed by Parker Lynch in Seattle. Previous to that he worked at Nintex in Bellevue.

Eric loved biking, rock climbing and snowboarding. He was passionate about politics. He loved to laugh and make others laugh. His favorite movie was The Big Lebowski.

He is survived by his wife, Laura Wood, his parents Jim and Nancy, his sister Heather and aunts, uncles, nieces and cousins. His beloved dog Maddie passed away in late 2017.

He will be missed by all who loved him. May he be at peace with himself and the world now.
