Donald Roland Hover

Donald Roland Hover passed away suddenly, at home on May 5, 2010. Don was born on August 12, 1931 to Awilda Sadie Ellen(Newquist) & Albert Sherman Hover, Sr during the Depression era. Don was a sweet, caring, funny, kind, helping, loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, father-in-law, uncle and friend who believed that whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus. He is a loving member of Calvery Chapel in North Bend, WA.Don was born in Natchez, WA and grew up in the Yakima Valley. The family moved to Zillah where Don graduated high school in 1950. Don was married to Ann Jones for 34 years & Arlene Beam for 12 years respectively. Don retired from Boeing after over 42years.Don was preceded in death by his parents; sister Mayree; brothers Jimmy, Robert & Albert. His two loving wives whom he treasured Ann Matilda (Jones) 1950 – 1986 & Arlene (Beam) 1996 – 2008.He is survived by his loving children Diane Steen(Gary) of Burlington, Donald “Bud” Hover, Jr (Tonya) of Winthrop, Glenn Hover(Lisbeth) of Sequim, Lynn Hover(Mila) of Issaquah and Jeffrey Hover(Kelly) of Casper Wyoming. Stepdaughter Julie Parsons (David) of Mercer Island. Thirteen grandchildren, Carey & Anthon Steen of Burlington, Andrew Hover (Jen) & Wesley Hover (Katey) of Winthrop, Nikki Julmist(Joslyn) of Sequim, Moriah Hawkins (Dusty) of Spanaway, Trenton and Brady Hover of Casper WY, Jacob, Travis, Kara & Shanae Hover of Issaquah, Adele Parsons of Mercer Island; ten great-grandchildren and his beloved dog, Rusty. Services are 1:00 pm on Wenesday, May 12, 2010 at Calvary Chapel, 1556 Boalch Ave NE, North Bend WA 98045. Thursday May 13, 2010 buriel service will be in Zillah, WA at Zillah Cemetary 11:30 am.
