CHRISTAL ANN HILL

A beloved beautiful spirit, Christal “Chris” Ann Hill, 44, of Wallace, Idaho, passed away January 22, 2018 at the Schneidmiller House of Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho. She was born April 24, 1973 in Albuquerque, New Mexico; Christal is the daughter of Ernest “Jim” and Rhonda (Lommel) Hill.

Christal grew up in the Silver Valley and had attended the Wallace High School graduating in the class of 1991. Chris furthered her education in college.

After graduation, Christal moved to the Seattle, Washington area. She had worked for Safeco of Seattle; Chris then went to work for the Verizon office in accounting in North Bend, Washington, where she worked for many years. Christal also served as a bookkeeper for All About The Sound Construction Company; she then furthered her studies and received her insurance license and had worked for State Farm Insurance Company. Christal then lastly had served as a personal assistant in the administrative division of Securitas Company – a subsidiary of Microsoft, until she could no longer work due to her cancer diagnosis. Chris was back home in Wallace spending time with her parents.

Christal served as president of the Eagles of North Bend, Washington. She always put her children first and their activities. Chris was a great softball mom and was very involved in her oldest daughter’s Maddy’s baseball career. She also enjoyed crafts, playing pool and softball.

Chris is survived by her parents Jim and Rhonda Hill of Wallace; three children Maddy Trout who is attending college in Bellevue, Washington on a baseball scholarship, Cody Trout of North Bend, Washington and Nolan Sorenson of Cle Elum, Washington; one brother Ernie Hill and fiancee Lori of Dickinson, North Dakota; paternal grandmother Mary Hill of Lewiston, Idaho; maternal grandmother Marj Lommel of Osburn, Idaho; her aunts and uncles JJ and Carolyn Hill of Lewiston, Vicki And George Hemphill of Wallace, Larry and Jyll Lommel of Boise, Idaho; she is also survived by numerous cousins and many dear friends. Christal was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather Ernie Hill and maternal grandfather Bert Lommel.

Christal was always positive and had the most beautiful smile. She had a great sense of humor and the best mom ever. Christal was dearly loved by her family and friends and will be so very much missed.

A Celebration of Christal’s Life will be held and announced at a later date.
