Arthur William Eshe | Obituary

Arthur William Eshe, 67, passed away on March 25, 2021 in Cle Elum, WA.

Arthur was born in Corona, California to Arthur Leslie and Frances Mae Eshe on February 11, 1954. He spent his early years in Long Beach, CA until the family moved to Snoqualmie, WA. Arthur graduated from Mount Si High School, class of 1972. In 1976, he graduated from Eastern Washington University where his major studies were in Art and Art in Secondary Schools, with minors in Earth Science and History. Arthur married Inge Tampi on July 18, 1981 and they had two children, Sara Frances Sien-Nio and Olivia Sioe-Ing. Arthur’s calling in life was to be a teacher, inspired by his mother who taught elementary school and his grandfather who studied Art. He imparted his love of art and science to his daughters and to students across Washington and Alaska. Everyone who knew Arthur was touched by his generosity and his enthusiasm for art, science, and nature.

Arthur is survived by his daughters Sara and Olivia; his sisters Helen, Ellen, Lisa; and his parents Arthur and Frances. Arthur was preceded in death by his brother Leslie, his sister Terry, and his nephew Del.

A memorial service will be held in August. “With Love, In Peace Always”
