Adele Comstock Strom

May 14, 1931 – November 30, 2025

Adele Comstock Strom passed away peacefully on November 30th, 2025, in Bend, Oregon. She was 94 years old.

Adele was born in Omaha, Nebraska, but spent most of her years in the Snoqualmie Valley where she was an active member of the community. She volunteered with the Red Cross, hosted foreign students, and was active in her church. She enjoyed tennis and skiing.

Adele had a lifelong love of music, from playing flute in the Seattle Youth Symphony to playing piano, even for the residents of her retirement home in Bend.

Adele met her husband, Robert Strom, while attending the University of Washington. After a year of teaching in southern California, she and Bob married and settled in the Valley, where he practiced dentistry.

Adele is survived by her three children: Kari, Susan, and Erik. She also loved spending time with her seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Hosting holiday parties in North Bend and Fourth of July events at the family beach house on Vashon Island were highlights for family and friends.

Adele’s lively presence will be sorely missed, and our hearts are heavy with the loss of her vibrant energy and joyful love.

May our Heavenly Father hold you and keep you in His loving care.
