Woman dies after tree falls on vehicle in Carnation

Another person was also injured in the accident on Carnation Duvall Road NE and Fay Road NE.

A 44-year-old woman died Dec. 6 in Carnation after a tree fell on a vehicle, leaving another person also injured.

According to Eastside Fire and Rescue, this incident occurred on Carnation Duvall Road NE and Fay Road NE. Eastside Fire and Rescue stated that Redmond police also assisted with this incident.

“This is a tree fall on a vehicle,” Eastside Fire and Rescue stated. “Sadly one person has died as a result on the impact, a second is being airlifted to an area hospital with life threatening injuries.”

According to the King County Medical Examiner’s Decedents List, the woman who died was 44-year-old Emma Katherine Ingram. According to the medical examiner, her cause of death was blunt force trauma of the torso with fractures and visceral injuries, and her manner of death was an accident.
