King County Road Services has announced it will re-open West Snoqualmie Valley Road Northeast at noon Thursday, Oct. 22.
The road, damaged by a landslide in 2014, had been closed for reconstruction since Monday, Oct. 5. Crews excavated the failed slope, built a retaining wall and paved the road.
After the road is re-opened, crews will plant native vegetation, which may require temporary one lane closure for a short time.
