Parents and locals are forming a PTSA, or parent-teacher-student association, at Two Rivers School in North Bend.

Interested community members are invited to attend the Two Rivers School PTSA Organizing Meeting, 4 p.m. Wednesday, July 23, at the North Bend Library.

The meeting is being facilitated by the Washington state PTSA president, as well as other regional and local PTSA leaders. The purpose is officially decide to create a PTSA organization in an effort to support all sixth through 12th-grade Two Rivers students. Assuming a positive response, committees will be created to draft organizational standing rules, set membership fees, recruit officers and to plan for the charter meeting.
