Enjoy an evening on the banks of the Snoqualmie River, complete with gourmet food and live music, at the Snoqualmie Valley Preservation Alliance’s Taste of the Valley, starting at 5 p.m. Saturday, July 27, at Jubilee Farm, 229 W. Snoqualmie River Rd. N.E., Carnation.

The annual fundraiser brings chefs, farmers and food lovers together to support the nonprofit SVPA, an organization focused on stopping the increase in flooding in the Snoqualmie River Valley, and committed to preserving its rural nature.

Local ingredients are featured in gourmet bites from top local chefs, including Tom Douglas (Dahlia Lounge, Etta’s), John Howie (John Howie Steak),  Chris Weber (The Herbfarm), and chefs from the Tilth Restaurant, PCC Natural Markets, the Salish Lodge and the Woodman Lodge. The evening also includes an auction of local products, services and experiences.
