Several local residents made the academic deans’ list at Azusa Pacific University in Azusa, Calif. These students were honored for a fall 2015 grade-point average of 3.5 or better.

Among the students earning the academic honor were: Jessica Guyer of Fall City, majoring in psychology; North Bend residents Hayden Malberg, majoring in economics, Hunter Malberg, majoring in applied exercise science and Rachel Mallasch, majoring in cinematic arts production; and from Snoqualmie, Abigail Zarate, double-majoring in psychology and Spanish.

They are joined by 2,230 students receiving the same honor.
