The city of North Bend and the Snoqualmie Tribe will host a special recycling event from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 29, at the Mount Si High School Freshman Campus, 9200 Railroad Ave., Snoqualmie.

The program, open to all King County residents, will accept household materials. Acceptable items include scrap metal, appliances, refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, fluorescent bulbs and tubes, electronics, petroleum products, tires, batteries and reusable household goods.
