The Mount Si Fish and Game Club’s Annual Children’s Trout Derby is scheduled for dawn to 10 a.m., Saturday, May 1, at the ponds behind the Snoqualmie Police Department at 34825 Douglas Ave. S.E.

No registration is necessary; this is a free event. Children ages 6 to 14 may compete. Prizes will be awarded to the largest fish in each age bracket.

The fish weigh-in takes place from 6:30 to 10 a.m. There is a limit of two fish. Fishing nets are not allowed. No dogs are allowed on site.
