Snoqualmie Tribe seeks volunteer help at Fall City Park planting

Volunteers can help make Fall City Park a greener, healthier place at a native plant work party, 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 20.

The Snoqualmie Tribe is planting northwest trees and shrubs near the Snoqualmie River, after removing invasive species.

Work happens rain or shine, and volunteers should meet up near the Fall City Park hop shed. Shovels and gloves will be provided, and the tribe will provide light snacks and water.

To take part or get directions, e-mail tribal cultural coordinator Adam Osbekoff at adam@snoqualmienation.com or call the Snoqualmie Tribe’s Environmental and Natural Resources Department at (425) 292-0249.
