The city of Snoqualmie will test its Reverse 911 alert system starting this week. The test runs October 11 through 14. During one of those evenings, each resident or business phone line should receive a call between the hours of 5:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. The recorded voice will identify the call as a test from the City of Snoqualmie Emergency Operations Center.

Using Reverse 911, city officials can quickly deliver emergency notifications throughout the community for situations such as contaminated water, flooding, evacuations and major road closures.

Most residential and business phone numbers in Snoqualmie are already in the system and do not need to be re-registered. However, new residents and those that do not receive a test call by October 14, are encouraged to register at www.cityofsnoqualmie.org.
