Snoqualmie police chief put on administrative leave

Snoqualmie Police Chief Brian Lynch has been put on administrative leave, as of Feb. 6.

According to a city news release, Lynch is the subject of an ongoing internal investigation.

The release did not provide any details, as the city will not comment on active investigations.

Captain Gary Horejsi will serve as acting chief of police in Lynch’s absence.

“We are confident that Captain Horejsi and the entire Snoqualmie Police Department will continue to provide the high level of services that Snoqualmie and North Bend residents expect and deserve,” the release said.
