Sleigh your way to the annual Snoqualmie Tree Lighting Ceremony, set for Thursday, Dec. 4 at Railroad Park in the historic downtown district.

At 6:30 p.m., Santa will light the tree in the park’s gazebo, and then welcome children to tell him their wishes. Families should get there early to see the tree light up.

Participants can enjoy hot apple cider and cookies, take an old-fashioned carriage ride, and join in the revelry of the season.

In the spirit of giving, visitors may bring non-perishable food items to donate to the Mount Si Helping Hand Food Bank, which serves more than 230 families each week.

The event is sponsored by Snoqualmie Parks and Recreation Department and the Snoqualmie Ridge Residential Owners Association, and is open to the entire city and beyond. The Cascade Team is sponsoring the food drive.
