The Snoqualmie Indian Tribe Youth Camp is scheduled for Aug. 16 to 20. It is open to Native American youth in grades five to 12.

The camp focuses on health and fitness, but also emphasizes culture, traditional foods and medicine, language, environmental conservation, community involvement, and safety and first aid training. The camp is completely free.

Volunteer camp counselors, age 18 or older, are needed, too. Natives and non-Natives are welcome to apply.
