Mueller’s photography approach reflects the natural world and the effects of nature on the man-made environment, she said.

“I hope my images will impact people on an emotional level and give them a deeper understanding of, and desire to protect our environment and heritage,” said Mueller. “I often find the smaller details of large landscapes or structures can help define the grander view. Slowing down to see the details can change our overall view of the world.”

Her photography has been in numerous shows locally and internationally. In 2015, her work made the “top 250 nature images of the year” in the North American Nature Photography Association publication.

The show is sponsored by Snoqualmie Arts Commission. For more information on upcoming events, like the SAC on Facebook.
