Snoqualmie celebrates Earth Day

In honor of Earth Day, April 22, the city of Snoqualmie and Waste Management held their first annual Snoqualmie student art contest; winners will be announced today at City Hall from 4 to 7 p.m.

The art contest competitors consisted of 43 students in third and fourth grade, who were asked to show what recycling meant to them.

The event will include making earth-friendly pots out of newspaper, tree planting, learning how to save energy and more.
