Service with a smile

Brian Young (left), playing the role of Bob Farrell, a successful businessman in the ice cream industry, serves ice cream to Lilli and Genevieve Barlow while parents Allan Barlow and Debra Fox look on at the Snoqualmie Candy Factory. Last week the restaurant on Railroad Avenue was transformed into an old-fashioned ice cream shop by a Seattle filmmaker. The Candy Factory was chosen as the site for a motivational video to be used by corporations for customer service training. Those of a certain age may remember Farrell's as a place where drum banging and ice cream combined for great birthday parties.
