Second hearing set for school director district change

The Snoqualmie Valley School District will hear further public input Thursday, May 12, before the regular school board meeting. At this hearing, starting at 6:30 p.m., the district will present a revised proposal for realigning director districts. The revisions were prompted by the strong negative response to a proposal presented April 28.
The district also plans to post the revised proposal on its school website, http://www.svsd410.org, when it is made available by Sammamish Data System, the agency hired by the district to prepare the realignment.
The school board does not intend to vote on the new proposal this week. Board policy requires a minimum of one week’s consideration following public comment at a hearing.
