Safe stops: Learning bike safety on Snoqualmie Ridge | Photo

Zach Hartman, 4, of Fall City, gets a lesson in stop signs from police officer Michel Bos during the Tanner Jeans Bike Safety Rodeo, held in June on Snoqualmie Ridge. Even grown ups need a reminder about stopping at the signs, Bos said.

The Tanner Jeans Memorial Foundation holds the rodeo annually to promote bicycle safety for children, as a legacy for 7-year-old Snoqualmie boy Tanner Jeans, who was killed in a bicycle accident June 23, 2003.
