It was standing room only in Snoqualmie Valley Hospital’s Weyerhaeuser Room Thursday night, Jan. 17, when the King County Public Hospital District 4 Board of Directors took comments from residents on the proposed sale of the 25-year-old hospital campus near Meadowbrook.

Representatives of the intended buyer of the hospital, the Snoqualmie Indian Tribe, were in attendance, as were supporters of the hospital’s planned move to a new campus at Interstate 90 and Snoqualmie Parkway.

However, many also came to the Weyerhaeuser Room Thursday to sound a note of caution, alarm or even anger over the changes proposed by the hospital district.
