Ready, set, swim! Fall City Duck Derby rescheduled for Aug. 30

The annual Duck Derby is set for 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 30.

Normally a highlight of the June Fall City Days event, the derby was postponed this year due to hazardous water conditions.

For $5, entrants in the derby get to borrow a specially numbered and weighted rubber racing duck for the competition, which starts with a tumble from the State Route 202 bridge. The lucky ducks whose birds finish fastest win prizes, including $500 cash for first place,
