The Northwest Railway Museum pays tribute to America’s workers this Labor Day with a special weekday train run of the Snoqualmie Valley Railroad on Monday, September 1, in addition to its regular weekend schedule.

The scenic train excursion travels through the Cascade foothills of the Upper Snoqualmie Valley, including a ride to the top of Snoqualmie Falls and spectacular view of the river valley.

Trains depart every 90 minutes beginning at noon from the Snoqualmie Depot, 38625 S.E. King St., and at 12:31 p.m. from the North Bend Depot at 205 McClellan St. Roundtrip fares are $7 for children ages 2 to 12, $10 for adults ages 13 to 61, and $9 for seniors ages 62 and up. Large groups receive a discount.

Visitors to the museum experience the excitement of a working railroad while learning about the important role railroads played in shaping the character of the Pacific Northwest. Self-guided walking tour information is available at the Snoqualmie Depot.

The depot and bookstore are open to the public from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
