Railroad Days breakfast helps firefighters

The Snoqualmie Firefighters Association is holding its annual fundraising Pancake Breakfast, 7 to 11 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 22, at the Snoqualmie Fire Station, 37600 S.E. Snoqualmie Parkway.

Grab a hearty breakfast and help your local firefighters at Railroad Days.

The Snoqualmie Firefighters Association is holding its annual fundraising Pancake Breakfast, 7 to 11 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 22, at the Snoqualmie Fire Station, 37600 S.E. Snoqualmie Parkway.

This non-profit association supports Snoqualmie Fire Department special equipment purchases as well as charitable organizations and historical preservation the community.

Diners get a pancake and ham breakfast cooked by the firefighters, plus orange juice and Starbucks coffee served in the apparatus bay at the fire station. Cost is $5 for adults, $3 for children. Youngsters under age 5 eat free.

Children can also check out Snoqualmie’s fire engines and aid cars, promising lots of photo opportunities with the firefighters.

There will be a raffle for prizes from local businesses, and a silent auction for larger items. Past year’s prizes have included gift certificates, spa, golf and vacation packages and more.
