Police agencies in the Snoqualmie Valley responded to the following call over the last week:
North Bend Police
Wednesday, Nov. 9
Abandoned Boat: At 11:03 a.m., police impounded a boat and trailer that were found blocking the Snoqualmie Valley Trail, near North Bend Way in the Tanner neighborhood. The boat appeared to be abandoned, since the motor had been taken apart.
Monday, Nov. 7
Vandalism: At 10:22 a.m., a store manager in the 400 block of Southwest Mount Si Boulevard called in a report of vandalism. Earlier in the day, it appeared someone had used brown spray paint to vandalize the northeast exterior wall of the store.
Saturday, Nov. 5
Punched-out Window: At 12:57 a.m., a business in the 45500 block of Southeast North Bend Way reported that an intoxicated man had punched his fist through one of the business windows. The man had left the business on foot. Police soon located him, and found that the woman who was picking him up was also intoxicated.
Friday, Nov. 4
House Crash: At 11:28 p.m., police were called to the 12000 block of 412th Avenue Southeast, where a car had crashed into a home. The vehicle drove through a fence and into the porch on the home. No one was injured.
Snoqualmie Police
Wednesday, Nov. 9
Suspended License: At 9:05 p.m., an officer on patrol checked the status of a vehicle he was following, and found that the registered owner had a suspended license. He made contact with the driver who was the owner, and cited him for driving with a suspended license.
Monday, Nov. 7
Wrong Way, in Reverse: At 8:40 p.m., an officer on patrol, southbound on Railroad Avenue, noticed a vehicle traveling northbound in the clearly marked southbound turn lane near Snoqualmie Falls Park. The officer turned around at Tokul Road, and then saw the vehicle, driving in reverse from the turn lane into a business parking lot. The driver, who smelled strongly of intoxicants, said he had missed his turn into the business. A blood contest confirmed he was intoxicated.
Saturday, Nov. 5
Suspicious Caller: At 8:36 p.m., an employee of a business in the 7700 block of Center Boulevard Southeast called police to report a suspicious phone call. A man had called, asking about the ages of the employees at the business, and indicating he would visit the business within the hour. Police advised the female employee, who was working alone, to lock the doors, and they would check on her.
Friday, Nov. 4
Injured Deer: At 7:53 a.m., officers responded to several reports of an injured deer that had been hit by a truck on Snoqualmie Parkway, near Douglas Avenue Southeast. An officer shot the deer, and Public Works removed the carcass.
