Wednesday, Jan. 9

Missing signs: At 1:20 p.m., an employee of a home builder along Southeast Cedar Falls Way reported the theft of many company signs from along the roadway. Over the past six months, she said 226 signs had been taken.

Sunday, Jan. 6

Pack snatched: At 5:04 p.m., a man called police about the theft of his backpack, from a cubicle in the computer area of the North Bend Library. The backpack had been stowed underneath the computer desk. At about 4 p.m., the victim said a woman who had found his wallet in the alley contacted him to return his wallet.

Assault: At 8:22 p.m., police received an assault report from the 300 block of Main Avenue South. They found the victim in a business parking lot, punched in the face. The assailant was gone, and the victim was unwilling to help in the investigation.

Saturday, Jan. 5

Stolen vehicle: At 3:30 p.m., a caller in the 200 block of Main Avenue reported that his vehicle, which had been parked in the street in front of his home, had been stolen.

Snoqualmie Police Department

Tuesday, Jan. 8

Listening in: At 2:50 a.m., an officer patrolling Railroad Avenue heard on the King County Sheriff’s radio channel about a domestic violence incident in North Bend. A woman involved had left the home and was believed to be driving to Monroe. The officer saw a vehicle matching the description pass by and contacted KCSO about probable cause for stopping the car. The passenger was the subject in the North Bend incident, and the driver had a suspended license.

Monday, Jan. 7

Attempted plate theft: At 4:12 p.m., a caller in the 3900 block of Southeast Park Street reported a young woman, 18 or 19, was using a screwdriver and attempting to steal the license plates off his vehicle. Police responded but did not locate the subject.

Engagement fireworks: At 8:49 p.m., police received a fireworks complaint from the 3500 block of Southeast Swenson Street. The officer found a group of people setting off fireworks in their driveway while celebrating at an engagement party. The group was cited for the offense.

Sunday, Jan. 6

Known trespasser: At 1:56 p.m., police received a report of a suspicious person in the 8200 block of Railroad Avenue. They responded and identified a known subject, who had been removed from the same business earlier in the day, Suspected of buying alcohol for minors and suspicious drug behavior, the subject had a standing order not to return to the business. Police arrested him and found marijuana, a methamphetamine pipe and a syringe on his person.

Tuesday, Jan. 8

Library disturbance: At 5:23 p.m., police were called to a fight in progress at the Carnation Library. The fight was over and both parties were gone when the officer arrived.

Monday, Jan. 7

No show: At 7:48 p.m., a caller reported that a subject wanted by the police would be coming to the area. An officer was on stand-by in Carnation, but the subject never arrived.

Theft: At 4 p.m., police received a theft report from the 32200 block of East Morrison Street. A caller said the suspect had stolen about $100 worth of copper pipe.

Person down: At 11:35 a.m., police were dispatched to a report of a person down at the Carnation Elementary School. The subject was picked up by a white van when police arrived.

Fall City Fire District

Tuesday, Jan. 8

Domestic incident: At 9:37 a.m., Fall City Fire Department responded to the 28500 block of Issaquah-Fall City Road for two patients involved in a domestic violence dispute. Both patients were evaluated, and transported to local hospitals by ambulance.

Monday, Jan. 7

Sick: At 4:16 a.m., Fall City Fire Department responded to the 7400 block of Heather Avenue for a 46-year-old man with food poisoning. He was evaluated, but preferred to stay at home.

Structure fire: At 7:36 a.m., Fall City Fire Department, Snoqualmie Fire Department, and Eastside Fire and Rescue responded to the 39600 block of Southeast Spruce Street for reports of a residential structure fire. The fire was extinguished, house ventilated, and resident evaluated for any injuries.

Sunday, Jan. 6

Sick: At 2:56 p.m., Fall City Fire Department responded to the 35700 block of Southeast 47th Place for a 72-year-old woman experiencing flu like symptoms. She was evaluated, and transported to a local hospital by a private ambulance.

Saturday, Jan. 5

Alarm: At 11:24 a.m., Fall City Fire Department responded to the 000 block of 292nd Avenue for a residential automatic fire alarm. Upon arrival crew members found the alarm to be false, and due to smoke from the fire place.

Illness: At 5:20 p.m., Fall City Fire Department, Snoqualmie Fire Department, and Bellevue paramedics responded to the 6500 block of Railroad Ave Southeast for a 50-year-old woman with flu like symptoms. Upon arrival the patient went into cardiac arrest, and was quickly treated and transported to a local hospital by Bellevue Paramedics.

Welfare check: At 11:09 p.m., Fall City Fire Department responded to the 4300 block of Preston Fall City Road to check on a 60-year-old woman. She had died. A King County Sherriff’s Officer took over at the scene.

Friday, Jan. 4

Cut hand: At 12:30 a.m., Fall City Fire Department saw an 18-year-old man who walked in with a hand laceration. He was treated, and transported to a local hospital by Fall City Fire’s ambulance.

Faintness: At 9:11 a.m., Fall City Fire Department responded to the 31300 block of Redmond-Fall City Road for an 82-year-old man experiencing a syncopal episode (feeling faint). The man was

evaluated, and transported to a local hospital by a private ambulance.

Fall: At 5:57 p.m., Fall City Fire Department responded to the 31500 block of Southeast 97th Street for an 88-year-old woman who had fallen. She was evaluated and left at home in care of her son and daughter in law.

Thursday, Jan. 3

Fall: At 9:33 p.m., Fall City Fire Department and Snoqualmie Fire Department responded to the 37500 block of Southeast North Bend Way for a 50-year-old woman who had fallen. She was evaluated, and transported to a local hospital by a private ambulance.

Fall: At 10:09 p.m., Fall City Fire Department and Snoqualmie Fire Department responded to the 37500 block of SE North Bend Way for a 70-year-old man who had fallen. H ewas evaluated, and transported to a local hospital by Snoqualmie Fire’s ambulance.

Tuesday, Jan. 8

Alarm:  Snoqualmie firefighters responded to an automatic fire alarm on Bracken Place. The alarm was set off by a worker on site.

Medical help: Snoqualmie firefighters went on one medical aid call to the Snoqualmie Casino.

Monday, Jan. 7

House fire: Snoqualmie firefighters, with assistance from Fall City Fire and Eastside Fire & Rescue,  responded to a structure fire on Southeast Spruce Street. The elderly occupant made it out safely, and  the fire was contained to the living room.  The fire caused approximately $20,000 in damage to the house and contents.

Alarm:  Snoqualmie firefighters responded to an automatic fire alarm on Bracken Place. The alarm was set off by a worker on site.

Alarm: Snoqualmie firefighters responded to an automatic fire alarm at the Northwest Railway Museum.  The alarm was malfunctioning; it was reset.

Medical calls: Snoqualmie EMTs responded to four medical aid calls.

Sunday, Jan. 6

Alarm: Snoqualmie firefighters responded to an automatic fire alarm on Hoff Ave.  They were cancelled by the alarm company before they arrived.
