King County Animal Control officers seized a pit bull at a Snoqualmie residence after it bit a Snoqualmie police officer in the leg. The dog, with a pack of other dogs, chased children in the neighborhood Monday, Sept. 17.

After the owner was notified, police said they observed him beating a dog as he tried to restrain it. While two officers tried to help capture the dogs, one bit officer Paul Graham.

The city does not plan to charge the owner with a crime, though he could face county animal control violations.
