Open house planned for new homeless resource center

Congregations for the Homeless will host an open house event to celebrate the opening of a new resource center, the Valley Renewal Center, at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 30 at the American Legion Post, 38625 S.E. River Street, Snoqualmie.

Congregations for the Homeless will host an open house event to celebrate the opening of a new resource center, the Valley Renewal Center, at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 30 at the American Legion Post, 38625 S.E. River Street, Snoqualmie.

Operated by the CFH in partnership with American Legion Post 79, the Valley Renewal Center works to provide a safe space to share resources and information to help the Valley’s homeless population get the services they need.

The center will be open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, Thursday and Friday at the American Legion Post. Lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Valley Renewal Center also operates the Snoqualmie Valley Winter Shelter.
