Protesting: At 1:35 p.m., a caller in the 8200 block of Railroad Avenue complained about a man on the sidewalk, holding a sign with a photo of President Obama with a Hitler mustache. He was with the Impeach Obama protest group.

Tuesday, March 25

Malicious Mischief: At 7:41 p.m., a caller in the 3500 block of Southeast Ridge Street reported vandalism to the homes’ locking mailboxes. Police found one mailbox lock damaged but no mail had been stolen.

Graffiti: At 9:51 a.m., police took a report of a home in the 7900 block of Stellar Way Southeast that was vandalized with spray paint.

Saturday, March 23

car prowl: At 10:32 a.m., an officer took a theft report in the 7800 block of Melrose Lane Southeast. The victim said that between 4 p.m. the previous day and 6:30 that morning, someone stole two pairs of binoculars, a GPS unit and a digital camera, worth a combined $1,100, from his vehicle. He may have left the car unlocked.

Private property: At 9:57 a.m., a caller in the 300 block of East Second Street reported seeing transients entering the garage of a vacant property. An officer investigated and found that they used a pry bar to gain access, then locked the building from the inside to sleep overnight.

Monday, March 25

Driveway disturbance: At 10 p.m., an officer responded to an assault in the driveway of a business in the 700 block of Southwest Mount Si Boulevard. Apparently, a man and woman were arguing in the driveway of the business when the woman hit the man.

Saturday, March 23

Stolen flatbed: At 7:30 a.m., a caller in the 700 block of East North Bend Way reported that someone stole a flatbed truck with a backhoe on it from his business overnight. The suspect removed fence boards to gain access.

Friday, March 22

Keyed: At 3:35 p.m., a caller in the 400 block of Southwest Mount Si Boulevard reported vandalism. Someone scratched the driver’s side of her vehicle while she was shopping.

Friday, March 29

Suspicious: At 8:56 p.m., an officer on Milwaukee Avenue near East Reitze Street contacted the driver of a vehicle sitting in the dark in the residential neighborhood. The driver had a warrant, and was arrested.

Thursday, March 28

Bad luck: At 6:20 p.m., police were asked to assist in a one-car accident on S.R. 203 at Northeast 16th Street. A vehicle ran out of gas, then rolled into the ditch when the driver tried to pull off the highway.

Siphoning: At 8:12 a.m., a business in the 3600 block of Tolt Avenue reported someone was siphoning diesel fuel from a work truck.

Shoplift: At 1:49 p.m., police were called to a business in the 31700 block of West Eugene Street, for a shoplifting report. A known suspect just left the store with merchandise he didn’t pay for. Police searched, but did not locate the subject until about an hour later, when they warned him not to return to the store.

Wednesday, March 27

Breathing problem: At 2:34 p.m., firefighters responded to a 71-year-old woman who was hyperventilating. She was treated and transported to Snoqualmie Valley Hospital via the Fall City Fire aid car.

Three-car wreck: At 4:27 p.m., firefighters responded to a three car motor vehicle accident. There were no injuries.

Bloody nose: At 6:54 p.m., firefighters responded to a 76-year-old man who had a bloody nose for about one day the patient was treated and transported to Swedish of Issaquah via the Fall City Fire aid car.

Medical issue: At 10:32 p.m., firefighters responded to a 78-year-old woman with a possible medical issue. She was treated and transported to Swedish Hospital via the Fall City Fire aid car.

Monday, March 25

Stuck in a chair: At 10:51 a.m., firefighters responded to a 2-year-old boy whose head was stuck in a chair. He was extricated from the chair and left in the care of his daycare.

Drug issue: At 11:38 a.m., firefighters responded to a 62-year-old man with a possible drug overdose. He was treated and transported to Swedish Hospital via the Fall City Fire aid car.

Assistance: At 10:04 a.m., firefighters responded to a 69-year-old woman with a medical issue. She was given a medical exam and left at home in the care of family and hospice.

Weakness: At 11:53 a.m., firefighters responded to a 78-year-old man who was experiencing general weakness. He was treated and transported to Overlake Hospital via private ambulance.

Saturday, March 23

Faintness: At 12:20 p.m., firefighters responded to a 48-year-old man experiencing a syncopal episode (feeling faint). The man was given an exam and left in the care of a friend.

Faintness: At 5:55 p.m., firefighters responded to a 39-year-old man who was experiencing a syncopal episode. He was given an exam and allowed to stay at home.

Weakness: At 8:29 a.m., firefighters responded to a 27-year-old woman who was experiencing general weakness. She was treated and transported to Swedish Hospital in Issaquah via the Fall City Fire aid car.

Wednesday, March 27

Alarm: Firefighters responded to the Salish Lodge for an automatic fire alarm activation. The alarm was set off by a small fire in an ash tray. It was reset.

Tuesday, March 26

Alarm: Snoqualmie units were dispatched to an automatic fire alarm activation at the Snoqualmie Community Center.Officers were on scene and determined that the alarm was set off by a plastic container that was accidently set on a hot burner. The smoke was aired out.

Friday, March 22

Alarm: Firefighters responded with Fall City Fire Department to the Salish Lodge for a fire alarm. The alarm was set off when a guest neglected to open the flue after starting a fire in the fire place. The alarm was reset.

Thursday, March 21

Alarm: Snoqualmie firefighters were dispatched to the IGA Village Foods for an automatic fire alarm. After investigation, it was determined that it was a false alarm set off by workers on site.

House fire: Snoqualmie firefighters assisted Eastside Fire & Rescue at a house fire on Southeast Tanner Road. The fire was out upon arrival of the first unit. Firefighters assisted with ventilation of the smoke and made sure there was no extension of the fire.

Medical calls: In addition to the above calls, firefighters responded to 12 medical aid calls, bringing the annual call number to 254.
